SEO for European businesses that want enquiries, not just traffic.
Managed SEO for European service and B2B businesses, run remotely by one specialist. The work is built around the searches that turn into enquiries, the technical basics Google needs to trust your site, and tracking that shows which pages produce leads.
It is done in English, with a native-language reviewer arranged where you need other languages.
Free, 30 minutes, no obligation. I only need view access to look at your account.
The short answer
Managed SEO for businesses in Europe: technical fixes, pages that match real searches in your market, Google Business Profile work and monthly written reporting. Plans start at $399 a month for profile management and $799 a month for full local SEO, with a 3-month start and month to month after. Prices are published in USD; for EUR or GBP invoicing, ask for a custom quote. Rankings are never guaranteed.
Sound familiar?
Why European sites struggle to rank.
- The site targets "Europe" instead of the countries and cities where you can serve customers
- Translated pages exist but are not connected with hreflang, so the wrong language ranks in the wrong country
- The Google Business Profile is incomplete, or the categories and service areas are wrong
- Content was written once in English and never checked against how local buyers search
- Pages get impressions but nobody knows which ones produce leads
- Every proposal promises page one and nobody explains how or when
What the work involves
What SEO for Europe covers.
Technical audit and fixes
Indexing, site speed, internal linking, structured data and duplicate content checked and fixed first. The technical SEO checklist.
Intent-led keyword research
Keywords chosen by what buyers in each country actually search, with that country's volumes, so content targets enquiries rather than vanity traffic.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile, service pages and consistent listings in each country where you have a real address, so you appear in the map results for the places you serve.
Language and country setup
Where you serve more than one language or country, the site structure (country folders, subdomains or separate domains) and hreflang are planned so each page ranks in the right place without competing with its sibling.
On-page improvements
Titles, headings, depth and calls to action improved on the pages closest to ranking, where small gains move furthest. On-page SEO.
Lead tracking
GA4 and Search Console connected to form and call tracking, with consent handled properly, so reporting shows enquiries by page, not just positions. How tracking works.

What is different in Europe
Five things that change SEO across borders.
Multiple countries and languages
The same query in two languages is two different markets, with different competitors and different intent. I start with the one or two countries where you have a real offer. Work is done in English; German, French, Spanish, Italian or Dutch pages need a native-language reviewer or writer, arranged with you. Examples of countries where local SEO operates include Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. These are examples of places, not clients.
Local search and the Business Profile
Google Maps and the Business Profile matter in many countries, but address display rules, category names and the directories customers check differ. National directories and trade or review sites vary by country, and I check which ones your market actually uses before building listings. Service-area businesses set their areas by region and city.
Cookie and consent expectations
European rules on cookies and similar technologies generally expect consent before analytics and ad tags fire, so reported traffic can fall when a banner goes live. I set up GA4 and Google Consent Mode so the gaps are understood and Search Console fills part of them. Tags on this site load only after the visitor accepts. Details differ by country, so check with your own adviser or national data protection authority.
VAT and business details
VAT may be added to invoices depending on where you are registered, so ask your accountant. Some countries also expect legal notice pages on a business site, such as an imprint in Germany, and registration numbers on the page. I note what is needed and you confirm the legal wording with your adviser.
Local Services Ads and paid support
Local Services Ads availability varies by country and category: check Google's current availability for your country and category. I confirm eligibility before proposing it. Where it is not available, paid media for Europe and the Business Profile carry the early weeks while SEO builds.
Pricing
What local SEO costs.
Most European businesses start with Local SEO Foundations: the profile, consistent listings and the core service pages for one country. Companies in competitive markets, or covering several countries or cities, usually move to Growth. Multi-language or multi-country sites are scoped after a call.
Full details, including the founding-client offer, are on the pricing page.
| Plan | Price | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| GBP Essentials | $399/month | Google Business Profile only: weekly posts, review replies, photos, spam monitoring |
| Local SEO Foundations | $799/month | Profile plus citations, core service pages and one new page a month |
| Local SEO Growth | $1,499/month | Competitive markets or several towns: more pages, local links, quarterly strategy call |
One-time setup is $195 to $395, covering citation clean-up and the first technical fixes.
Prices are published in USD. If you would like to be invoiced in GBP, EUR or CAD, ask for a custom quote. Ad spend is paid directly to the platforms. Websites start from $625 one-time, and a Local SEO or Ads audit is $125. The first five clients get founding rates, 20% below list for the first three months with the setup fee waived. See the pricing page.
Working across time zones
Calls in your morning, written updates in between.
Central Europe is 3.5 hours behind India in summer and 4.5 hours behind in winter, so a 9am call in Berlin or Paris is 12:30pm or 1:30pm in India. Ireland and Portugal match the UK, 4.5 hours behind in summer and 5.5 in winter. Monthly reports, change logs and next-step plans are written, with questions answered within one business day.
How long it takes
Realistic timelines, in writing.
Technical fixes can show effects within weeks. Competitive rankings commonly take four to six months of steady work, and longer in crowded markets or on a new domain. Nobody can promise a position on Google, and you get a written plan of what happens each month so you can judge the work yourself.
Who it is for
A good fit if this sounds like you.
- European service businesses that want more enquiries from search in one or two countries
- B2B companies whose site gets traffic but few qualified leads
- Businesses running Google Ads who want organic search to lower their reliance on paid clicks. Paid media for Europe
- Teams comfortable with English-language service and clear written communication
If you are in the UK, see SEO for UK businesses. The overview of this market is on the Europe page. To start, book a call or get in touch.
Proof
What I can and cannot show you.
I have no SEO client case studies to show yet, and none from European accounts. The documented results on this site are from paid media and measurement work in earlier roles, mostly in the Gulf and India. What you get instead is a written monthly record of what was done and what it produced.
The first five clients, in any country, get founding rates and agree to share their results as a case study, tagged by region. Read the case studies from earlier roles.
Process
How the work runs.
Review
Read-only access to the account, analytics and tracking. I tell you what I see before any agreement.
Fix the foundations
Tracking, consent, conversion definitions and account structure are corrected first, so optimisation works from accurate data.
Optimise
Weekly changes to campaigns, budgets, pages and creative, each with a stated reason.
Report
Plain-language reporting tied to leads and pipeline, with a direct line to me.
