The short answer

Google Ads and Local Services Ads management for plumbers: emergency, drain and water heater campaigns, search-term control and call tracking tied to the ad. Sound familiar?

The ads cost a lot and the wrong people click.

  • Clicks come from people who want a DIY fix, a part or a job, not a plumber.
  • Emergency searches are expensive, and a call that rings out wastes the click.
  • Drain, water heater and repipe searches behave differently but share one budget.
  • You cannot tell which ads produced the jobs that actually paid.
  • Leads from home-service marketplaces arrive without any record of which search triggered them.

What the work covers

What I manage each week.

Emergency campaigns

Burst pipes, sewer backups and no-hot-water searches, scheduled for the hours someone answers.

Service campaigns

Drain cleaning, water heaters, fixtures and repipes, each with its own ads, budget and page.

Search-term control

Weekly negatives for DIY, parts, training, jobs and wrong-trade searches.

Local Services Ads

Set-up and upkeep where Google offers plumbers in your area, with the screening, review and dispute steps. See Local Services Ads.

Call and form tracking

Calls, forms and texts tied to the ad and keyword, plus missed-call text-back where it is allowed.

Budget by job type

Money moves toward the jobs that pay best for your crew, not just the cheapest clicks.

Rings out: the caller tries the next company.
Answered or texted back: the job stays with you.

Campaigns

The jobs the campaigns are built around.

Emergency plumbing

Urgent and high intent. Only worth paying for if the call is answered.

Drain cleaning and sewer

Steady demand, often with a clear first step to book.

Water heaters

Replacement jobs with a larger ticket and a research step. See the size calculator.

Repipes and remodels

Fewer, larger jobs. Usually better as their own campaign.

Pricing

What the management costs.

Management starts at $375 a month for one channel. The right plan depends on how many platforms you run and your monthly ad spend.

Ad spend is separate and goes straight from your card to Google. Full details, including the founding-client offer, are on the pricing page.

Paid ads management (USD, 60-day start, then month to month)
PlanPriceWhat it is for
Starter$375/moOne channel, ad spend up to $3k/mo
Growth$675/moTwo channels, ad spend up to $7.5k/mo
Scale$1,125/moUp to three channels, ad spend up to $15k/mo

I recommend at least $1,500 a month in ad spend per platform. Below that, campaigns rarely collect enough data to improve, and Local Services Ads or your Google Business Profile are a better first step.

The first 90 days

What working together looks like for plumbing companies.

Days 1 to 14: audit and tracking

I read the account, set up call tracking, agree what a lead is and launch within 14 days of access.

Days 15 to 45: tighten

Search terms, negatives and ad schedules are adjusted weekly against answered calls.

Days 46 to 90: grow what books jobs

Budget follows the job types that book and pay, and weak campaigns are cut.

What I promise

The work, not the lead count.

Lead volume depends on your market, season, budget and how fast you answer the phone, so I do not promise a number of leads, a cost per lead or a ranking. What I do promise is in writing: your campaigns go live within 14 days of you granting access and approving the plan, or the first month's management fee is waived (waiting on Google's own checks or on access from you does not count toward the 14 days), and you can ask for a refund of the fees you paid me in the first 30 days. You own the ad account, the analytics and the website from day one.

Process

How the work runs.

  1. Review

Read-only access to the account, analytics and tracking. I tell you what I see before any agreement.

  2. Fix the foundations

Tracking, consent, conversion definitions and account structure are corrected first, so optimisation works from accurate data.

  3. Optimise

Weekly changes to campaigns, budgets, pages and creative, each with a stated reason.

  4. Report

Plain-language reporting tied to leads and pipeline, with a direct line to me.

FAQ

Common questions.

How much does Google Ads management cost for plumbing companies?
Management starts at $375 a month for one channel and is $675 a month for two channels, plus a one-time setup fee. Ad spend is separate: you pay Google directly, and I recommend at least $1,500 a month per platform. The published plans are on the pricing page.
Is the ad spend included?
No. You pay Google, Meta or LinkedIn directly from your own account, so you can always see what was spent. The prices on this page are management fees only.
Are Local Services Ads available for plumbers?
Google lists plumbers among the provider types for Local Services Ads, but availability depends on your country and area. The sign-up flow checks your business type and address, and I check it with you before you spend time on the paperwork.
What happens to calls after hours?
I schedule ads for the hours someone answers. A live answering option or clear after-hours handling can cover the rest, and I set it up with you.
Do you guarantee leads?
No. Lead volume depends on your market, season, budget and how quickly you answer, so a guarantee would be a guess. The commitments are the work in your plan, the 14-day launch promise and the 30-day fee refund.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. Everything runs in an account you own, and I work through manager access that you can remove at any time.
