Google review request card and message builder

Paste your Google review link and get a printable QR card plus text, email and invoice wording that follows Google's review rules.

Short answer

Get your review link from your Google Business Profile, paste it below, and this tool makes a printable QR card and copy-ready messages. It runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. Ask every customer, never offer a reward for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy, because Google prohibits both.

Asking for reviews is allowed and encouraged. Google's own help says you can share a link or QR code with customers. This builder only formats that link into a card and messages so your team uses the same wording each time.

Nothing you type leaves your browser. Test the QR code with your own phone before you print.

  1. Sign in to your Google Business Profile.
  2. Open your reviews and look for the option to get more reviews, which gives you a link and a QR code. Google's help page is called "Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews". Button names can change, so use that page if yours looks different.
  3. Copy the link and paste it into the box above.
  4. Test it on your own phone, in the browser your customers use.

Use the link from your own profile. Do not use a link from a third-party site or one you cannot verify goes to your own listing.

Rules the wording is built around

  • No incentives. Google's policies prohibit offering discounts, gifts or payment in exchange for reviews.
  • No review gating. You may not selectively ask only happy customers or discourage negative reviews. Ask everyone, and say honest feedback is welcome.
  • No reviews on a customer's behalf and no handing over your own device to write one.
  • Texting rules vary by state and province. The text message includes an opt-out line, but check the current rules where you work and ask a lawyer.

The sources are Google's Business Profile help on asking for reviews and Google's contributed content policy for Maps. Read the current versions, because policies change. The review request templates and the Google reviews guide go further.

Where to use the card and messages

  • Send the text after you have left the property, not while you are standing there.
  • Put the QR card on invoices, a leave-behind card or a truck clipboard.
  • Use the footer line on receipts and follow-up emails.
  • Reply to every review you get. Replies help future customers see how you handle problems.

Frequently asked questions

Is it allowed to ask customers for Google reviews?
Yes. Google's help says you can ask, including with a link or QR code. What is prohibited is offering something in return, asking only happy customers, or posting reviews for customers. Ask everyone and keep the wording neutral.
Where do I find my Google review link?
In your Google Business Profile, open your reviews and look for the option to get more reviews. Google's help page "Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews" explains the steps, and button names may change over time.
Does this tool see or store my link?
No. It runs in your browser and nothing you paste is sent to LiveLeadsLane or anyone else. The QR code is generated on your device.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google prohibits offering discounts, gifts or payment in exchange for reviews, and such reviews can be removed. A thank-you for a referral is a separate matter, and the rules vary, so ask a lawyer.
Do I need permission to text customers?
Texting rules differ by state and province, and some require prior consent. I cannot give legal advice, so check the current rules where you work and ask a lawyer before you automate messages.
Will the QR code work if I print it small?
Usually, but test it. Print one copy at the real size and scan it with a phone in normal light before you print a batch.
